This c. 1800 Pennsylvania farmhouse is nestled on 20 acres that has been placed under conservation easement. In order to accommodate the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic desire to live in a historically accurate house, we identified the need to remove all of the inappropriate 20th century additions and completely renovate the original 18th century structure. Additions were designed to accommodate additional bedrooms, a formal living area and family living areas which included a family entrance, mudroom, laundry room and powder room.
